They pulled out a more than 1000 years old Viking sword from a cairn in Norway
A hunter is found a more than 1000 years old Viking sword in Norway, left in great condition. Einar Ambakk found the brown object when they (he and his friends) followed the trails of the reindeers in Reinheimen, central part of Norway, where they never hunted before. At first he thought he found a rusty iron rod, but when he pulled out, he saw it's a real sword. Ambakk notified the local archaeologists and experts. "As I know no one found a sword this high before. It's also rare that it's left in so good condition." - Said Lars Holger Hilo, archaeologist.
