The currently introducing fuction is getting in the program with the occasion of the international day of disabled persons. We can turn on real time subtitles for calls in the newest version of Skype - This is how Microsoft is "celebrating" the international day of disabled persons. The new service is primarily helping people, who can barely able to hear or not able to hear at all, but it is also good to better understand our parner's speaking in noisier environment. The subtitles can work both with group and with two pesons speaking, and if it is necessary, we can set it to default in the settings menu, otherwise we can activate it by clicking on the + sign, and selecting the proper option. If this is not appearing to someone, do not worry, it can take a few weeks until the necessary update is arrive to everyone. Currently anyway the subtitles are running in the window of the video continuously, almost as the automaticly generated YouTube subtitles, but the devel

We barely believe, but the first episode of the most known FPS game series of the world was released two decades ago. Probably no one needs an introduction to the Half-Life series. The first episode of the series is released on the 19th of November, 1998. Today is the 20th of November, 2018, so the game was exactly 20 years old yesterday. The game received three expansion packs: Opposing Force, Blue Shift, and the PS2-only Decay, and one numbered sequel, and numerous fanmade extensions. Happy birthday Half-Life and Gordon Freeman! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FEtOTFJCXA The second part of the game maybe achieved better success, but since the two episodes of that game we didn't heard any news about a potential sequel. Be either a real third part or an Episode 3. Many people are still believe until this day that a real sequel will be made once I am curious about your opinion, how did you liked the opening part of the game anno, what kind of experiences do you have wi

According to the legend, special unique crystals, called sunstones could helped the Vikings in sea navigation. A study of Hungarian researchers proved that it was possible to navigate in certain cloudy weather conditions. During the study presented in the current issue of the Proceedings of the Royal Society A scientific journal, Gábor Horváth, the leader of the Environmental Optics Laboratory of the Biological Physics department of the Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Science (ELTE), the senior author of the study and his colleagues are tested this hypothetical method.   Image source:  Wikimedia commons /ArniEin The Vikings traveled thousands of kilometers on the Sea, they even reached North American. They didn't had magnetic compasses, because of this, they navigated based on the position of the Sun. If clouds covered the sky, they located the sun by so-called sunstones, then they determined the north direction. Image source: Flickr/Geir Are Johansen In 1967 T
